Role of Nurse in Medical Emergency and Technique for Intradermal Injection

As per MOU’S(Memorandum of Understanding) signed between Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Nursing and National Aids Research Institute, Orientation Programme was planned on 03/09/2019 to 04/09/2019. The topic of Programme was the “Orientation Programme on Role of Nurse in Medical Emergency and Technique for Intradermal Injection.”As per MOU’s three Staff Nurse were deputed from NARI to attend the Orientation Programme. Names of Staff Nurses were Ms. Ujjwala Ghule, Ms.Shital Kumbhar, and Ms.Suvarna Sake. On the first day,3rd September 2019 at 1:00 pm respected Principal Madam Dr.Mrs.Rupali Salvi welcomed the staff nurses and spoke about the Importance of attending Programme, followed by Theory lecture on Intradermal Injection at 1:00 pm-3:00 pm by Mrs.Dhanashree Kutwal. Thereafter next session was taken by Ms.Ashwini Gayake on Demonstration of Intradermal Injection from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Day second 4th September 2019 started with the topic on “Role of Nurse in Anaphylactic Shock” by Ms.Ashwini Gayake from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Redemonstration of Intradermal Injection was done by Dhanashree Kutwal at 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This program was indeed a great success by the feedback of the Staff Nurses of NARI team, that they would apply this knowledge in their clinical areas and will be educators for the future Nurses. Principal Madam certified all the Nurses who attended the Programme. The valedictory function was closed by the refreshment of tea.
