NSS Special Camp

Dr.D.Y. Patil College of Ayurved & Research Center, Pimpri, Pune-18 organizeda 07-day residential Special camp at Dehugaon, Tal- Haveli, Dist- Pune from29/01/2019 to 04/02/2019. Total of 29 students participated in this Camp.

InaugurationCeremony was held by the hands of Hon. Shri Balasaheb More (Chief of Trust ShriSant Tukaram Maharaj Devasthan, Dehu) on 29/01/2019 at evening 5 pm. Thisprogramme was well organized by N.S.S. representative Shri.Mangesh Shinde underthe guidance of Programme officer Dr. Prakash Mane and Asst. Programme officerDr.Mangesh Udmale. The Programme officer explained the aim & objects ofthis 7 days Special Camp to the people of Dehu & requested them tocooperationn for the good service. N.S.S. Asst. Programme officer Dr.MangeshUdmale honored all the dignitaries who were present on the dais with flowerbouquets.

VariousSurveys were conducted in the 7 days Special camp like Family hygiene, toiletfacility, No. of members in the family who are educated, Child vaccination,diseases found in their family, etc. We informed them about the various OPD‘swith free Diagnosis as well as free Medicine on various days located in SantTukaram Mandir for 7days.

Variouslectures were organized for people to create awareness & education.

SaveGirl Child & Organ Donation Rally was conducted on 30/01/2019. 

AIDS& Diabetes awareness rally was also organized every day in themorning.  

FreeHealth check-up Camp with free medicine distribution was held on 31/01/2019 atDehu Mandir. Total 455 patients were treated by giving free ayurvedicmedicines. 

Followingthe type of Disorders were found

               a) Skin/Hair Diseases

               b) Arthritis, DiabeticDiseases

               c) GynecologicalDisorders

               d) Pediatric Disorders

               e) Geriatric Disorders

Fromour college, Dr. Schin Bhagwat, Dr.Amar Kamble, Dr. Abhijit Shekhar, Dr.Pranesh Gaikwad were present along with two Medical officers to treat thepatients.

Total1454 children from “ Jagadguru English Medium School” were examined on30/01/2019 by Dr.Atram Surekha, Dr. P. B. Jondhale, Dr. Priyanka Daundakar, Dr.Abhijit Ghadge, Dr.Ravindra Rajpal with the help of 29 N.S.S. Volunteer alongwith PG students and Interns.

Weorganized daily Heartfulness Meditation session during residence camp byMr.Sunil Jaswani along with Yoga, Suryanamaskar, Pranayam activities. AllN.S.S. Volunteers, Resident people, Teachers participated in the same.

OurN.S.S.volunteer team conducted various activities like River Swachhata Abhiyanat Indrayani River of Dehu on 31/01/2019, Shramdan near to Dehu Mandir on01/02/2019. 


AllN.S.S. Volunteers visited nearby pious Gathamandir & Bhandara Dongar on03/02/2019. They were very grateful & inspired to see the social work doneby Sant Shree Tukaram Maharaj. 


Thevaledictory function was held on 04/02/2019 at 11 am in the presence of ShreeSanjay More (Secretary & trusty of Sant Tukaram Maharaj Devsthan). Theygave the vote of thanks to NSS Unit of Ayurvedic Medical College & MUHSNashik for giving service to humanity. They also gave the vote of thanks toProgramme officer & all NSS volunteers.
