“DAKSH” consist of different competitions namely Elocution competition for BBA students which is a speech competition where students are allotted with a topic to talk about., ADZAP which is an Ad-making competition which is an opportunity to bring out individual and collective talent of the students participating in it. The idea behind conducting this competition is to provide a platform to participants to explore their creativity and stage presence skills and Sultans of Sales where teams of students could do any business by investing just Rs.100 which was organized for BBA & MBA students to enhance their entrepreneurial talent.

Daksh 2K22 – Elocution Competition was organized on 25th March 2022 from 12 pm onwards. Daksh is a management event where students get an opportunity to exhibit their management competencies and enhance their learning abilities. Elocution is a speech competition where students are allotted with a topic to talk about. The topic for the elocution was “Virtual Reality- Future of Education”. The time limit for each student was 3 minutes. It was based on self-composed content and quotes or references from any external sources were permitted. The candidates were evaluated based on different criteria such as Expression, Articulation, Diction and Delivery & Style. Judges for the event were Dr. Debjani Guha and Prof. Vatsala Manjunath. There were around 30 participants who enthusiastically participated in this event. The winner of the competition was Ms. Rashi Singh from FYBBA, first runner up was Mr. Ashmit Sharma from FYBBA and second runner up were Durva Sartardekar from SYBBA and Hrutuja Tanawade from FYBBA.

The event was concluded with some insights and future improvements by the Judges. The event came to an end with a vote of thanks. Dr.Priyanka Bachhav coordinated the event.


Ad-Zap competition was organized by Global Business School and Research Center as a part of the Business activities organized under DAKSH 2022. The intracollege business competition was held on 25.03.2022

The Ad-Zap Competition was conducted on the 25th of March 2022 from 9.30 pm to 11.00 pm. The Judge for the Ad-Zap competition was Ms. Sunita Kharate and Dr. Sharmishta Deshmukh from GBSRC. There were 10 entries from Global Business School and Research Center for Ad-Zap Competition. Teams were given products on the spot and 15 minutes were given as preparation time and after which they had to perform ad in a minute. Languages allowed for the same were English and Hindi.

Volunteers for the Ad-Zap competition were Adwani Vibha Vinod, Ashraf Mansoori. Borokar Yudhishtir Rajesh and Vanshika Shukla.

A college level competition of Sultans of Sales was organized under “DAKSH 2K22” on 25th March 2022 from 1 pm to 5 pm,where teams of students could do any business by investing just Rs.100. Teams could sell either goods or services, and students from both BBA and MBA were invited.

A competition was held to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of students. There were 17 teams participating. Each team had 4 members and a unique name was given to them by the team leader.

Each team invested Rs.100 to start their business. A table and chair were provided for the students to run their stalls. There were stalls for both food and non-food items. The food stalls included Pani-Puri, Bhel, milkshakes, samosa, and cold drinks, buttermilk, fruit salad, kurkure chat and Sharbat etc.

Aside from the food stalls, there were stalls for handmade keychains, Mandala art, earrings games, etc. The participants were enthusiastic and enjoyed the event greatly.

The competition was a great learning opportunity for students. Dr.Hemant Patil and Dr.Avinash Ghadge were the judges for the event. The competition was coordinated by Dr.Jayashree Patole & Dr.Harshal Raje, the BBA and MBA coordinators respectively. Among the student volunteers were students from SYBBA (Sem.IV) namely Saurabh Patil, Ishika Gope, Aditi, Sadvi, Shreyash and Priyanshu Kejriwal.

At the end of the event, congratulatory e-certificates were provided to all winners, runner-ups, participants and volunteers. A vote of thanks was extended to the organizers.
