CORPORATE GUEST SESSION - Opportunities for higher studies with, World class Universities.

Global Business School and Research Centre had organized a Corporate Guest session on Opportunities for Higher Studies with World Class Universities” This session was conducted on Saturday, 26th Feb 2022.The speaker for the event was Mr. Shreyas Pardesi, Program Associate, Global Collaborations John Hopkins Carey Business School. This session was attended by 14 students.

The speaker for the session was, Mr. Shreyas Pardesi. In his current role Mr. Pardesi is focused on outreach to prospective students and education institutions in India and promoting Carey programs. Mr Pardesi also provides coordination, communication, and programmatic support for Carey Business School activities and expanding business contacts and alumni network in Southeast Asia.

The event started by welcoming the speaker for the event. Student volunteers compered the event successfully. Mr Adwity Chowdhary introduced the speaker, Mr. Shreyas Pardesi and handed over the session to the speaker.

Mr. Shreyas Pardesi explained about how one can build a strong application to the John Hopkins Carey Business School and also other institutions in the United States of America, he also told about how a STEM designated degree would be beneficial to a person over a normal degree and made the students aware about the difference between MBA and MS, that is MBA has 52 credits and it is a 2 year degree plus you require a job experience of at least 2 to 3 years to get admission in MBA whereas MS has 32 credits and it is a 1 year program plus you don’t require any job experience for this and he also correlated MS finance to Crypto.

Mr. Pardesi shared the list of companies that recruits from the John Hopkins Business School and also the profile of some alumni of the John Hopkins Carey Business School. Further he gave a detailed briefing about how one can apply and get the scholarship in John Hopkins Carey Business School through GMAT and TOEFL. In the end the speaker asked everybody to define their dream company and start working for that, even if you are not able to accomplish 100% of that, but you’d be able to reach at least half of it and one day your dedication will get you there, these kind words were very motivating for all the students present there.
