SNA Executives Meeting Report 2021-2022

|Events
The Student Council Meeting of Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Nursing was conducted on 7th January 2022, in the multipurpose hall at 11 am, under the guidance of Principal and President of SNA Dr. Mrs. Rupali Salvi, SNA Advisor of CON Mrs. Jasmin Shijo and SNA Advisor of INE Mrs. Sweety.
Host for the meeting was Ms. Cynthia Philip [vice president] of College of Nursing. The Welcome Address was given by Ms. Cynthia Phillips (Vice-President of CON)
Annual Week
· Cultural Days
After the welcome address the discussion was started for the planning of Annual Week. First Ms. Rutuja Shinde [Cultural Incharge] of CON started with the events to be held on the cultural days. The First Day of the cultural week would be Traditional Day, the second day would be mismatch day and the last day would be retro Bollywood day, and the events which are going to be there in these days would be hairstyle competition, mehndi competition, Mr. And Ms. SNA competition, etc. After this discussion the Principal ma’am and the SNA faculty executives finalized the cultural day's dates to be 21st march 2022 to 23rd march 2022 and also, they changed the mismatch day to the twinning day.
· Sports Days
Next, Sports day’s events were presented by Sahil Khan [Sports Incharge] of CON in which he showed the outdoor as well as indoor sports events like carrom, chess, volleyball, etc. But due to huge increase in covid cases Principal ma’am Dr. Mrs. Rupali Salvi decided to have only indoor games to avoid the spread of covid and the dates finalized for sports are 17th and 18th of march 2022.
· Annual Gathering
After that the annual day is decide to be held on 25th of march 2022. all the events planned would be through online mode for everyone except SNA executives and participants due to covid.
Budget Review
The SNA budget presentation was done by the Treasurer Mr. Suraj Kumar Miandad of CON. Instructions were given to all SNA representatives for the submission of Annual SNA subscriptions of each batch.
Discipline and Conduct
Later, the rules and regulations related to the discipline of the college were discussed and explained by Mr. Samson Kamble [discipline in Incharge] of CON. The Principal and faculty Discipline in Incharge gave detailed descriptions about the importance of Discipline in each student. Also highlights the rules and regulations of the College of Nursing.
General Body Meeting
After the discussion of the annual week, the second general body meeting was planned for 14th January 2022 and it is compulsory for all the executives to be present there.
Any other suggestions
The Induction programme for 1st Year, B.Sc ,1st Year M.Sc. and 1st Year P.B.B.Sc was planned on 13th January 2022.In the end all discussed about the discipline, working for the preparation of days and everyone gave few suggestions and the meeting was concluded.
The conclusion was done by the vote of thanks which was delivered by Ms.Rutuja Barkade [assistant general secretary] of CON. The meeting was concluded at 12:00pm followed by Refreshments.
