Minutes of Meeting

The Anti-ragging committee was held on 27/10/2021 at 11.20 AM in the conference room, Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing.

The following members were present.

The following agenda was discussed.

Dr (Mrs) Rupali Salvi Principal Dr D Y Patil College of Nursing introduced all the members & briefed about college committee. Dr (Mrs) Sadhana U Adhyapak, committee In charge read last meeting minutes & it was passed by all the members.

Antiragging rules - Dr (Mrs) Sadhana U Adhyapak notified about anti ragging rules to all members. She also mentioned objectives, functions & college representatives to the members. She showed the list of students’ representatives & mentioned about Antiragging website.

UGC regulations - Dr (Mrs) Rupali Salvi shared the copy of UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in Dr D Y Patil College of Nursing. She told all the members that all UGC regulations are followed as per guidelines.

Online affidavit by students & parents - Dr (Mrs) Sadhana U Adhyapak informed all the members that it is mandatory for all students to do online affidavit where it is mentioned that they won’t be involved in any ragging activities. College aids students in case they require in terms of technology. One copy of list of reference numbers is kept in college. The content of affidavit form was read for the members.

Any events of ragging - Dr (Mrs) Rupali Salvi informed the members that no events of ragging were reported in college. She told that all the squad members take surprise rounds in various college areas & submit monthly reports to Dr (Mrs) Sadhana U Adhyapak. All the squad members informed details of their rounds. She also said that mentors counsel students regularly & as & when required. It was also informed to members that list of committee members along with their contact numbers is displayed on notice board.

Suggestions – Mrs Rajshri Pawara, API, Mrs Dipmala Lohakare, HC MIDC Bhosari Police station & Mr B B Mujawar DPU interacted with first year students. They told students not to get involved in ragging events & report it if they come across any such situations. It was suggested by members that such repeated meetings & interaction can be arranged so that ragging events can be avoided.

The meeting was adjourned at 1.15pm.
