Guest Session on Sales and Distribution Management

On 26th September, 2020, a guest lecture on Sales & Distribution Management was organized at GBSRC for MBA – II students. For the guest session Mr. Girish Joshi – Key Sales Officer, Ferrero India Pvt. Ltd was the speaker and Dr. Shripad Joshi, Associate Professor and Prof. Mandar Brahme, Asst. Professor GBSRC were present. 116 students attended the session.

The guest lecture commenced with the introduction of Guest Mr. Girish Joshi by ABM student Mr. Akshay Ukirde.

Thereafter, Mr. Girish Joshi interacted with the participants asking them various questions regarding their views on Sales & Distribution and expressed his thoughts on the same. He also stressed on what motivates him and what are the qualities that every sales professional must possess.

He highlighted following points during the session:

  1. Roles & responsibilties of Sales professional

  2. Motives required for SDM

  3. Cases were discussed during the session

  4. Primary & Secondary sales management

  5. Sales & Distribution during pandamic situation

  6. New ideas to promote sales.

Dr. Shripad Joshi concluded the session by proposing the vote of thanks. In his speech, he thanked Hon’ble Secretary and Trustee of DPU, Director and Students for being enablers in organizing this Guest Lecture on Sales & Distribution Management.
