National webinar on "Management of Snake & Scorpion Bite"

The National webinar on Management of Snake & Scorpion Bite was organized by Department of Agadtantra, Dr D Y Patil College of Ayurved  and  Research Centre, Pune  with very purpose of getting enlightened on the said subject in practical aspect.

The event was conducted with the permission & blessing of our patrons Chancellor, Hon. Dr. P. D. Patil, Hon. Pro- Chancellor, Dr Bhagyashree Patil and  Vice  Chancellor, Respected Dr. N. J. Pawar and inspiration of  Dr. Smita Jadhav Trustee and Executive member, DPU and under able guidance of our Principal Dr. G. H. Yeola.

In the program, Dr. Yadunath Waykole (Assistant Professor) rolled for moderator and handled the flow of webinar. Dr. Sunila Deo (Professor & HOD) briefed about Clinical, Academic & Research facilities of the institute and welcomed all dignitaries and the guest speaker.

The inauguration was graced by the presence of Dr. Smita Jadhav (Trustee and Executive member, DPU) in her inaugural talk.  She briefed about research activities in institutions and welcomed the guest speaker on the behalf of DPU.

Dr. Gunavat Yeola (Principal) addressed the audience. The eminent and esteemed speaker  Dr. H S Bawaskar from Dr. Bawaskar Hospital & Research Institute, Mahad, Dist. Raigad was introduced by Dr. Shubhangi Karanje.

Dr. Bawaskar session on Management of Snake & Scorpion Bite enlightened all of us. It include a practical guideline in clinical aspect on the said topic for students (who are future practitioners) , currently practicing audience , and of course had a great academic value too. In all, the lecture was very informative and gave the participant a deep insight.

At end of webinar, Dr. Deepak Thorat delivered a vote of thanks to all dignitaries and participants

 A huge response to this webinar was received from participants. Total registration number was 653 for the event; including UG, PG students, teachers and practitioners from all over the India including more than 15 states Participants joined through Zoom were 253 and simultaneously 277 participants were viewing from Facebook Live on DPU Page.
