National Webinar “Neuroanatomy – Classroom to Clinical”

The National webinar Neuroanatomy Classroom to Clinical was organized by Department of Rachana Sharir, Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune in association with Ayurved Teachers Association on 7th August 2020. The purpose of arranging this webinar was to enlighten the difficult topic of anatomy i.e. Neuroanatomy. The selected topics for the webinar were Brainstem- Gross Anatomy, Clinical and Cranial nerves Gross Anatomy, Clinical. As per the name Classroom to Clinical suggests, it was aimed to have clinical understanding of the topics along with deep theoretical knowledge

The patrons of our institute Dr. P. D. Patil sir (Chancellor DPU), Dr. Bhagyashreetai Patil (Vice chairperson DPU), Dr. N. J. Pawar (Vice Chancellor DPU), Dr. Smita Jadhav ( Trustee Director), Dr. Bhrugupati Pandey (Advisor), Dr. Gunvant Yeola ( Principal), Dr. Prashant Khade (Vice Principal) granted the permission for conduction of the webinar. The invited eminent speakers for webinar i.e. Dr. Shoukat Kazi sir, Dr. Giridhar kanthi sir were also welcomed. The Principal Dr. G. H. Yeola sir addressed the participants with the information about the Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune our institute, management available facilities.

About 1500+ participants registered for the webinar which was free. The registrations were from various regions of India including UP, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujrat etc. The event was anchored by Dr. Amar S. Kamble ( Asst Prof, Dept of rachana Sharir ) starting with warm welcome of all participants. The Patrons were introduced welcomed by Dr N. S. Chandurkar ( HOD, Dept of Rachana Sharir).

The first eminent speaker Dr. Shaoukar Kazi sir was introduced by Dr. Pavan Gulhane ( Asst Prof, Dept of Rachana sharir). He delivered the lecture on the topic of Brainstem Gross Anatomy Clinical which was very deep knowledged informative including model demonstrations. The second eminent speaker Dr. Giridhar kanthi sir was introduced by Dr. R. R. Bawa (Asso. Prof., Dept of Rachana Sharir). Sir delivered the lecture on Cranial nerves Gross Anatomy Clinical which was very remarkable including their clinical tests of assessment. The questions by participants were answered by the speakers.

At the end Dr. Yogesh Kutte (Asso. Prof., Dept of Rachana sharir) delivered vote of thanks. The feedbacks were collected from the participants and E certificates were distributed to the participants. According to the feedback of the participants the webinar was Advance, completed within stipulated time, full of fist of knowledge with proficient speakers, excellent co-ordination of organizing team.
