The Alumni Association of Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College & Hospital Pimpri, Pune conducted a seminar on USMLE & Residency Options in the USA in Association with KAPLAN US on 16th September 2022 (Friday) from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm for Medical Students and Alumni seeking admission into Institutes of USA after clearing USMLE Exams, under the Career Guidance Initiative of Alumni Association of Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College & Hospital Pimpri, Pune.

The Programme was organized by Alumna Dr Radhika Paranjpe (Batch 1996) along with invited Speaker Dr Tenzin Jamyang (Global Director KAPLAN US).

Dr. Radhika Paranjpe welcomed the guest speaker, Dr Tenzin Jamyang.

Dr. Radhika then invited Dr. Tenzin Jamyang for an extensive speech which covered topics like the Process of Admission into PG courses in the USA, how to prepare for USMLE, when to start preparation, Changing Patterns of USMLE & how students should answer USMLE Questions.

The lecture was followed by a Question & Answer session by Dr Tenzin Jamyang & he responded to the various queries of the students and alumni attending the programme.

Miss Sara Saxena won the lucky draw consisting of Free KAPLAN Q- BANK for 12 months worth $ 399.

The seminar was well attended by over 246 aspirants for the USMLE exam and it got a lot of appreciation from the audience. They also expressed that such programmes of Competitive Exam Guidance will be useful for their career advancement.

The Programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks given by Dr. Radhika Paranjpe.
