OBJECTIVES
- To encourage the participants to develop the prototype/process designing
- To empower participants with the knowledge, tools, and methodologies needed to efficiently conceptualize, create, and refine prototypes or processes.
PROGRAMME DRIVEN BY IIC ACTIVITY
The Workshop on “Prototype / Process Design & Development” was held on 10/05/2024 at Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Nursing, Pimpri, Pune through online zoom platform at 9:00 am onwards.
The workshop was organised by Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing - Institutional Innovation Cell under the guidance of Dr.Mrs. Khurshid Jamadar, Principal of Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Nursing (Chairman IIC) & Mrs. Martha Raut (IIC Coordinator) of D.Y. Patil College of Nursing, Pune .
The IIC activity session, workshop was anchored by Mrs. Ceena Bejoy, Faculty Start up Activity Co ordinator. Further the session proceeded with the introduction of the first resource person, Prof. Dr. Sanjeev Chaturvedi, CEO, DPU FIILE by Ms. Pranali Waghmare, Faculty IPR Activity Co ordinator, Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing
Prof Dr. Sanjeev Chaturvedi, CEO, DPU FIILE has conducted the first session on the prototype development, how the innovation can be patented and the importance of the prototype/ process design and development.
The coordinator’s address was given by Mrs. Martha Raut, IIC Coordinator, Dr D Y Patil College of Nursing., Pimpri, Pune. Madam introduced the second resource person of the session Dr. Gaddam Sudarshan, Founder and CEO, M/S Shasrith Infotech Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad.
Further session was conducted by Dr. Gaddam Sudarshan, Founder and CEO, M/S Shasrith Infotech Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad on Prototype, how to register for the patent and develop and design the prototype. He explained about different technological resource system, how to do the prototype, Start-up innovation and practical demonstration.
The participants were encouraged to develop skills and methodologies to streamline processes, foster creativity, and drive innovation, leading to improved problem-solving, enhanced communication, and cost-effective solutions. It inspired students to think creatively and have prototype and start up to their credit.
The total number of 35 students, 15 faculty and 02 external participants joined for this IIC activity and got benefited. The IIC activity, workshop session was concluded with vote of thanks given by Mrs. Smita Tyson, Faculty Internship Activity Coordinator. Overall, the workshop was inspiring and educational. The workshop was well organized and was successful.
