To motivate nursing students & faculty to have patent.
The participants will be able to learn how to file patent and make it commercial
PROGRAMME DRIVEN BY SELF DRIVEN ACTIVITY
The session was held on “Patent filing and it’s commercialization” on 23/02/2024 at Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Nursing Pimpri, Pune in Multipurpose Hall at 11:00 am onwards.
The Session was organised by Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing - Institutional Innovation Cell under the guidance of Dr.Mrs. Khurshid Jamadar, Principal of Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Nursing (Chairman IIC) & Mrs. Martha Raut (IIC Coordinator) of D.Y. Patil College of Nursing .
Self driven activity session was anchored by Ms. Akansha Tyagi, IV year B.Sc Nursing (Student member- Internship activity), followed by Prayer song. Further the programme was inaugurated with lamp lighting by Dr. Manisha Bhende, Innovation Ambassador & Resource person & Dr.Mrs. Khurshid Jamadar, Principal and Mrs. Martha Raut, IIC Coordinator, Dr. D Y Patil College of Nursing, Pimpri, Pune. The Felicitation of the resource person was done by Dr.Mrs. Khurshid Jamadar, Principal, Dr. D Y Patil College of Nursing.
Dr.Mrs. Khurshid Jamadar, Principal, Dr. D Y Patil College of Nursing addressed the paeticipants regarding the importance of patent filing and it’s commercialization.
The coordinator’s address was given by Mrs. Martha Raut, IIC Coordinator, Dr D Y Patil College of Nursing., Pimpri, Pune. Madam welcomed the resource person of the session Dr. Manisha Bhende. The introduction about the resource person Dr. Manisha Bhende was done by Mrs. Ceena Bejoy, Start up coordinator, Dr. D Y Patil College of Nursing.
Further session was conducted by Dr. Manisha Bhende, Innovation Ambassador, Dr.D.Y Patil school of science and technology, Tathawade, Pune on patent filing and it’s commercialization.
Dr. Manisha Bhende, Innovation Ambassador, Dr.D.Y Patil school of science and technology, Tathawade, Pune gave us in depth knowledge regarding patent, different ideas how to think innovate, patent process, how to file a patent and ways to make patent in public domain and commercialization. It inspired students to think creative and have patent to their credit.
The total number of 80 of students and 13 faculty joined for this self driven activity and got benefited. The self driven activity session was concluded with vote of thanks given by Ms. Megha Bharti, I year P.B.B.Sc Nursing (Student member-Start up). Overall, the session was inspiring and educational. The Programme was well organized and concluded with national anthem.
