GBSRC celebrated the festival of Navratri and Durga Puja by playing Garb and performing ‘Dhunuchi Naach’ in its campus on 12th October 2019. The program began with worshipping Maa Ambe by Directors of MBA and PGDM along with the faculty members. The atmosphere vibrated in the waves of peace and calmness as the audience recited in unison Goddess Amba’s prayers. To commemorate the festival of Durga Puja, students performed a traditional bengali dance on 'Durga Agomoni'. The dance performance was mesmerizing and too good to be real. Girls dressed up in traditional Bengali attire dancing to the melodious beats of Bengali songs were heartwarming. With the lively music, drum beats, and traditional garba songs, then started Garba dance. Garba was performed by the students to give a glimpse of traditional garba folk dances and create cultural vibe for the students and to have a home-like feeling. Students danced their heart out in their bright traditional attires of ghagra choli and kediyas swirling around all lost in the music of garba raas. As mark of praise and recognition, students were awarded with prizes in the category of 1. Garba Queen/King 2. Most innovative Costume The campus was indeed painted in scintillating colours of culture, traditions, laughter, music, happiness and joy. The impressive evening came to close with a bouquet of impressive memories
