Department of Public Health Dentistry, Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pune organised a Virtual Webinar on “Tobacco Cessation Counselling – Conversion for change” by Dr. Akshatha Gadiyar, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College, Goa on 26th October 2023 9 AM onwards.
A total of 32 participants attended the webinar (staff , Post-graduates and interns students). The speaker was welcomed by Dr Ladusingh Rajpurohit on behalf of Dr D Y Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pimpri. The session emphasized on the various tobacco menace, Behavioural counselling and Pharmacotherapy. At the end of the lecture, a doubt clearing session was held for the staff, postgraduate and intern students in relation to tobacco counselling. This was followed by a vote of thanks by Dr. Anmol Mathur, Head of Department of Public Health Dentistry.
