Fort Trek, 2023

GBSRC has organized one-day trek to RAJGAD fort for all BBA students on January 14, 2023.The “Gadvede’ adventure and trekking team helped and guided our students for this trek. The excursion received a tremendous amount of support from the student side

Students showed up in the college parking lot around 4:00 am on January 14, 2023, as instructed. By 4.30 am, a bus had departed the institution carrying 67 students from College, along with three faculty members, Prof. Komal Singh, Prof. Lavendra Patil and Dr. Prashant Kalshetti. A full inspection was there on students from the experts and the Adventure and trekking team. The busses reached the destination by 7am. After the breakfast and tea, students were being instructed the basic rules of trek and after that students continued to trek.

Around 10 am students reached the top of Rajgad fort with full of energy and excitement. Everyone enjoyed the beauty of nature with greenery and the beautiful structure of the fort. After reaching the top students gathered together and experts gave information about the fort to everyone. They explained why that fort was named “Rajgad fort”? What were its special qualities? How great “Maratha Warriors “were defending themselves. Students liked and enjoyed it. Then students also went to see the mesmerizing view from ‘Suvela Machi’ point of the fort.

Students had begun to return to the base point (Gunjavane village) and arrived at there at 6.00 pm and had sumptuous meal. Buses left for Pune at 7.30 p.m.. The college bus arrived around 9:15 p.m. This debut edition of trek was guided by Dr. Chetan Chaudhari, Director-GBSRC and well executed by HOD-BBA, Dr. Prashant Kalshetti

In the conclusion, every single student had a great time. Everyone was pleased with the trek, and the efforts of the team. The trek to Rajgad fort was full of enthusiasm, vigor and energy. It was undoubtedly tiring but all students completed it well.
