Global Business School and Research Centre, Pune has organized interclass Futsal (Mini Football) match for BBA students.
The main aim behind this sports event was to make student understand that playing sports helps them stay in shape, teaches them, how to organize time, and majorly it boosts friendships, and builds relationships with their peers. Secondly, make their mind fresh, relax and energetic to focus on their further examination.
The matches were scheduled on UJ’s Turf near GBSRC. The matches took place on 9th of December 2022. The game consisted of four teams, each team had five players and one goalkeeper. Four teams of BBA students created fervor in the environment and witnessed by energetic and vibrating student audiences.
The all matches students displayed zeal, passion and excitement amongst them. Each team played proficiently and spectators thoroughly enjoyed this event. The BBA-III team outshined all others and was declared the winner of this match.
This sport event was managed well by Ms. Jigisha Salunke, General Secretary - BBA under the guidance of Dr. Chetan Choudhari, Director – GBSRC and was coordinated by Head of BBA Department, Dr. Prashant Kalshetti.
This football match began at 12:00 pm at the venue, with every team looking eager to get off to a good start in the knockout matches. The first was between 3rd year and 1st year BBA (Team A). In the 1st match, it was a draw match so, between the we conducted shootout round at which 3rd year BBA defeated their opponents by 2 – 1 goal. The match was quite interesting and everyone’s eyes were on the match all 90 mins.
Everyone in the second match along with the spectators got curious who will win this because the 2nd match was between the 2nd year BBA and 1st year BBA (Team B), this match shows that the 1st year students will play the last knockout match or not, 1st year was way more enthusiastic and encouraging their classmates to win but 2nd year students using all their strengths and giving a tough competition to their opponents and defeating their opponents by 1 goal.
The last-minute goal was the game-changing goal by the 2nd year team. Mridul and Sohan were the best-performing players of 1st year. And the wait is over the final knockout has begun after a short break.
The Final match was between 3rd year BBA and 2nd year BBA, since the match had started, they were well cheered for by their friend and mates. The first half was interesting the 3rd year scored 2 points but the second half was breathtaking and everyone in the both the teams showed their skills it became a tough competition for the 2nd year team as it was intense as 3rd year defeated their opponents by 6-0 goals at the end. The match was very intense and fun to watch with lots of excitement.
The match was full of excitement and curiosities. Both the teams tried their best to win. Both the college teams were equally strong and showed their excellent skill and performance.
Sambhav was “Man of the Match” as he individually kicked those two goals against Subhojeet, the opponent ‘s goalkeeper.
Ashmit Sharma and Swaraj Pawar the players from the opponent team also played extremely well for their team.
At the end of the event, the chief guest delivered a speech signifying the importance of arranging tournaments in the college. He encouraged the students for their laudable performances and felicitated the trophies.
