World Human Rights Day

Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December — the day the United Nations General Assembly adopted, in 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). The UDHR is a milestone document that proclaims the inalienable rights which everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinions, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.

The Fourth Year B.Sc Nursing students along with NSS Volunteer of Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Nursing observedWORLD HUMAN RIGHTS DAY”under the guidance of Dr.Mrs. Rupali Salvi ,Principal Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Nursing, Mrs. Kavita Kelkar, NSS Unit coordinator, and Mrs. Ashwini Gayake and Mrs.Smita Jadhav faculty of Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Nursing. The programme was organized through online mode by ZOOM App Platform.

Ms.Gitty Varghese welcomes all Principal Mam, faculty Nss students. Prayer song was sung by Ms. Glory Rachel. Ms.Feba Christy final year B.sc Nursing Student presented PPT on Recover Better –Stand Up for Human Right. She discussed about human rights as per UDHR.

The E-poster competition was conducted on theme. Total 20 Nss Volunteers were participated. The first prize was given to Mr.Shivam Pande and second prize was Ms.Gitty Varghese. Total 50 students and Nss Volunteer were attended this event.

Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Veer final year B.sc Nursing students. Overall it was educative and informative session.
