5th National Ayurveda Day

Dr D Y Patil college of Ayurved & Research center Pimpri, Pune has celebrated the 5th national Ayurveda day by organizing various events for staff, students and patients, as per the instruction issued by CCIM, Delhi and Directorate, Mumbai. The various events organized by institutions were medical camp, Elocution competition, E-poster competition and national level webinar.

The inaugural function for the 5th national Ayurveda day program was conducted on 12th November 2020. Dr. Pandey (Institutional Advisor) graced the function by inaugurating the program and addressing the audience. Dr. Yeola (Principal) addressed the audience also. Vote of thanks was delivered by the Dr. Deo (HOD Agadtantra Dept.).

The medical checkup camp was arranged to target the patients for post covid treatment and immunity booster regimen, specially organized by swasthavritta department as per the instruction given by CCIM. Dr. Jyotsna Yadav and Dr. Manisha Thakare was the consultant from our institution who renders the service for the three days, 11th November to 13th November 2020.

Considering the current pandemic scenario and theme of the program banners were displayed messages regarding preventive measures of COVID pandemic which could benefit patients and the population at large.

Elocution competition was conducted online on 12th November at 10.30 Am to 12 Pm. 8 participants participated and two were selected as winners, they are-

  1. Almas Shaikh (PG student Dr D Y Patil college of Ayurved & Research centre Pimpri, Pune)
  2. Sanhita Arote (UG student Dr D Y Patil college of Ayurved & Research centre Pimpri, Pune)

E poster competition was conducted. 20 Students were participated and winners declared on 13th November-

  1. Dr. Vidisha Thakar
  2. Dr. Anjali Pote

The Agadtantra Department was given the opportunity to conduct and monitor the whole program. Teaching staff and post graduate students of Agadtantra department gave the maximum input to make the program successful.
