Faculty of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of nursing conducted “Continued Nursing Education (CNE)” on stress management on 7th February 2020 at 10:30am in Multipurpose Hall of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing for the staff nurses from Dr. D. Y. Patil Hospital And Research Centre & First Year B.Sc. Nursing students.CNE started with the inauguration under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Rupali Salvi Principal of Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Nursing, organizing secretary Dr. (Mrs.) Nisha Naik Associate Professor of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing and Ms. Gurpreet Bumrah Class Coordinator of Final Year B.Sc. Nursing. CNE was blessed with the prayer song by Final Year B.Sc. Nursing students along with the lamp lighting. The welcome speech was given by Mrs. Avnee Naik. The felicitation was carried out by Dr. (Mrs.) Rupali Salvi (Principal of Dr. D.Y. Patil College of nursing), Dr. (Mrs.) Sadhana Adhyapak Professor of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing, Dr. (Mrs.) Nisha Naik (Organizing Secretary of CNE) and Ms. Gurpreet Bumrah Class Coordinator of Final Year B.Sc. Nursing The audience were addressed by Dr. (Mrs.) Rupali Salvi Principal of Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Nursing and declared the CNE open. It was followed by the CNE session I which was dealt by Dr. (Mrs.) Rupali Salvi on introduction, definition and types of stress, session II was dealt by Dr. (Mrs.) Nisha Naik on Causes of stress, session III dealt by Ms. Gurpreet Bumrah on Manifestations and symptoms of stress and session IV dealt by Mrs. Avnee Naik on management & home remedies for stress management. Dr. (Mrs.) Nisha Naik summarized the session & Interactive session was conducted were the audience shared their ideas and views based on their personal experience regarding stress management. Last but not the least vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Gurpreet Bumrah. The CNE was under the guidance of Principal Madam, Organizing secretary and faculties of CON. It was well organized and peaceful followed by the refreshments.
