Our college organized the annual social gathering ‘Cruisers- 2018’ on the 26th of March in Ankushrao Landge Auditorium, Bhosari. The theme of the event this year was ‘ Dance forms across the World’ and the members of the Students’ council painted a beautiful backdrop depicting the same. The Undergraduate students had prepared various cultural activities to perform on the day, which included various group dances and solo performances. The batches of Interns and 3rd years had also prepared class dances; the energy with which the entire batch came together and performed on stage was definitely the highlight of the show.

The formal event was conducted before lunch where the esteemed Dean of the college, Dr. Deepak Kulkarni was the chief guest. Prizes were given to the academic toppers of the previous year and the annual college magazine                     ‘ IMPRESSIONS’ was also released during the formal event. The gathering partook for lunch after the formal event, which ended with the chief guest’s speech.

Post- lunch, many performances were lined up which included a mystery Skit put up by the interns of the college, dance performances and Orchestra where the singers and the band of the college put together a medley of songs for the audience. The Students of all years and the staff also put up a Fashion show on the theme depicting various cultures of the world and this was highly appreciated by the gathering.

Throughout the event, the winners of the Talent week and Sports week were awarded prizes at the hands of the faculty of the college. The function ended with the cake cutting ceremony to bid adieu for the batch of Interns for whom this was the last cultural event of the year.
